There's no single official RevOps certification. Several organizations offer one, and they differ a lot in price, format and focus. Some teach a specific CRM, some come with a professional community, and some certify a framework or method. This guide compares eight programs from six providers on the facts each provider publishes.
A note on who wrote this. This guide is published by ROI · Revenue Operations Institute, which offers two of the programs compared here (RevOps Foundations and CRP™). We've tried to be fair: every figure for another provider comes from that provider's own page, linked in the sources at the end, and where we couldn't confirm a figure we say so. Prices and formats change, so check the provider's page before you enroll. Figures were checked on October 27, 2026.

The programs one by one
HubSpot Academy: Revenue Operations certification
HubSpot Academy's Revenue Operations course is free and self-paced, and HubSpot's listing describes 11 lessons, 32 videos and 9 quizzes, about 7 hours in total; check HubSpot's page for current details. It covers RevOps fundamentals and best practices from industry professionals, aimed at business owners, managers and sales and marketing staff.
Strengths: free, well produced, and a recognized name. A natural fit if your company runs on HubSpot. Consider: it comes from a CRM vendor; check HubSpot's page for the current exam format and whether the certification needs renewing.
Salesforce: Certified Platform Administrator and Trailhead
This isn't a RevOps certification as such, but it's Salesforce's core credential for administrators, the people who configure Salesforce for revenue teams. Preparation on Trailhead, Salesforce's learning site, is free. The exam costs $200 (retake $100), plus tax, and has 60 multiple-choice questions in 105 minutes, with a 68% pass mark for the English version. It's proctored, onsite or online, and has no prerequisite. To keep the credential, you complete a maintenance module on Trailhead once a year. The exam covers configuration and setup, the object manager, sales, service and productivity apps, data and analytics, automation and Agentforce.
Strengths: deep, hands-on, proctored, and directly useful if your job is to run Salesforce. Consider: it certifies the platform, not cross-functional RevOps practice such as funnel design or forecasting.
Pavilion: RevOps School
Pavilion is a membership community for go-to-market leaders, and RevOps School is one of its courses. It runs in cohorts (check the current dates). The listing describes six live 90-minute working sessions on Thursdays, which are recorded, plus two on-demand recordings, with topics from the executive mandate of RevOps to revenue architecture, operating cadence, systems and data, funnel design and AI. A multiple-choice final exam is required for the certificate. It's open to Pavilion Associate and Executive members and aimed at managers through VPs in RevOps and ops-minded leaders in other functions.
Strengths: live sessions with peers, a leadership angle, and the network that comes with Pavilion membership. Consider: you need a membership (check the current price), and live sessions run at set times (Eastern Time), though recordings are available.
RevOps Co-op: Foundations and Professional certifications
RevOps Co-op is a large community for RevOps professionals, with a free membership tier, Slack, local chapters and conferences. It offers two self-paced certifications. The Foundations Edition ($995) has 11 lessons and about 7–7.5 hours of instruction, ending in a certification exam, with a printable certificate, a LinkedIn badge and a one-to-one strategy session. The Professional Edition ($1,995) is aimed at experienced RevOps leaders and aspiring CROs and is described as 15 hours of instruction.
Strengths: made by and for RevOps practitioners, self-paced, and connected to an active community. Consider: the page doesn't publish the exam format or pass mark, so ask before you buy if that matters to you.
Winning by Design: Revenue Architecture
Winning by Design teaches its Revenue Architecture framework, a set of six models (revenue, data, mathematical, operating, growth and GTM). The open course is $1,500 per person: 12 hours of live instruction as six 2-hour sessions over two weeks, followed by a one-hour online certification exam with a 75% pass mark. A shorter Essentials in Revenue Architecture course takes 2 to 3 hours. The course is aimed at CROs, sales, marketing, CS and RevOps leaders, and senior individual contributors.
Strengths: a well-known, coherent framework for recurring-revenue businesses, live teaching, and a shared language for leadership teams. Consider: it's a framework course for leaders rather than a hands-on ops course, and live sessions run on a fixed schedule.
ROI: RevOps Foundations and CRP™
ROI · Revenue Operations Institute is an independent, vendor-neutral certification body. RevOps Foundations is a free, 2-hour self-paced course with a 15-question certificate quiz. The CRP™ Certified RevOps Practitioner is $890 (founding price $590 from January 12 to 31, 2027 for the first 100 founding members): 6 modules, 36 video lessons, about 9 hours and 6 templates. It's earned by an open-book exam of 40 scenario questions drawn from an unseen pool (75% to pass, two attempts) and a capstone report on your own funnel, graded against a published rubric, submitted within 6 months. The certificate carries a unique ID. Courses are pre-recorded, in English, with access for as long as the course is offered, fair global pricing and company invoicing.
Strengths: vendor-neutral, practical deliverables for your own company, and an assessment that includes graded work, not just a quiz. Consider: ROI is new, its programs open in late 2026 and early 2027, there's no live teaching or community, and its credentials aren't accredited by a university or government body.
How to choose
If you're new to RevOps. Start free. HubSpot Academy's Revenue Operations course and ROI's RevOps Foundations both cost nothing, and taking either tells you whether you want to go further before you spend money. If you already use HubSpot, its course will feel familiar; if you want a CRM-neutral introduction, Foundations is built for that.
If your company runs on Salesforce. If your job involves configuring Salesforce, the Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator, prepared for on free Trailhead modules, is the most direct credential. It pairs well with a RevOps program, because it teaches the tool while RevOps courses teach the process the tool should enforce.
If you're a leader who wants a network. Pavilion's RevOps School and RevOps Co-op both come with a community of peers, so you learn alongside people facing the same problems. Pavilion suits people who want live sessions and a broader GTM leadership network; RevOps Co-op suits people who prefer self-paced study and a RevOps-specific community. Winning by Design's Revenue Architecture suits leadership teams who want a shared framework, taught live.
If you're a practitioner who wants a vendor-neutral credential. Look for a program that tests applied skills on realistic work and doesn't depend on one CRM. RevOps Co-op's Foundations Edition and ROI's CRP™ are both self-paced and vendor-neutral; CRP™ adds a capstone graded against a published rubric on your own funnel. Compare the assessment, price and community each offers before you decide.
How to judge any RevOps certification
- What does the assessment test? A quiz checks recall; scenario questions and graded projects check whether you can apply the ideas.
- Is it tied to a tool? A vendor credential is valuable if you use that vendor; a neutral one travels between employers.
- Live or self-paced? Live teaching gives you discussion and accountability; self-paced fits around a job and any time zone.
- What do you keep? Templates, deliverables and long-term access often matter more than the certificate itself.
- Does it renew? Some credentials need annual maintenance or expire. Check before you count on them.
