The CRP™ Certified RevOps Practitioner is ROI's first paid certification. It teaches the hands-on core of revenue operations: designing a clean funnel, finding where it leaks, keeping CRM data trustworthy, routing leads to an agreed SLA, running a pipeline review leaders trust, and building a forecast. You build each piece for your own company as you go, then prove it with an exam and a graded capstone.
CRP™ opens on January 12, 2027. The first 100 founding members pay $590 instead of $890 from January 12 to 31, 2027.

Who it's for
CRP™ is for the people who run the revenue engine day to day:
- Sales Ops, Marketing Ops and CS Ops professionals
- CRM admins and revenue analysts
- people moving into a RevOps role from sales, marketing or finance
- founders and managers doing RevOps themselves
It's vendor-neutral. You learn the operating model your CRM should enforce, whether you run Salesforce, HubSpot or something else. If you want to learn to configure one specific CRM, that vendor's own certification is the better fit, and the two work well together.
The 6 modules and what you build
Every module ends with a workshop lesson: you watch the template filled in for the course's worked case company, then build your own version for your company. By the end you have six working deliverables, not just notes.
| Module | Lessons | You build |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Funnel and stage design | 6 | Stage Definition Document v1: lifecycle and opportunity stages with buyer-verified entry and exit criteria (template: stage definition canvas) |
| 2. Funnel metrics and diagnostics | 6 | Funnel Diagnostic: your top 3 leaks, sized by revenue impact (template: funnel diagnostic workbook) |
| 3. CRM data quality and governance | 6 | Data Dictionary v1: your 25 most important fields, with owners and rules (template: data dictionary and data-quality scorecard) |
| 4. Lead management, routing and SLAs | 6 | Routing and SLA specification (templates: routing decision tree and SLA agreement) |
| 5. Pipeline reviews, reporting and dashboards | 5 | Pipeline Review Kit: meeting card, agenda, pre-read, deal inspection questions and a hygiene exception report |
| 6. Reports, data, forecasting and the capstone | 7 | Forecast and Reporting Kit: certified report catalog, weekly snapshot spec, forecast calculator, accuracy tracker and AI evaluation scorecard |
Module 1: Funnel and stage design
Map your revenue lifecycle end to end, separate lifecycle stages from opportunity stages, and write stage definitions with entry and exit criteria based on evidence from the buyer, not the rep's opinion. Ends with the common failures (too many stages, "happy ears" stages, no disqualification) and how to fix them.
Module 2: Funnel metrics and diagnostics
Conversion rates by stage, segment and source; pipeline velocity in practice; cohort vs. snapshot reporting; a 5-step method for finding and sizing leaks; and when benchmarks help and when they mislead.
Module 3: CRM data quality and governance
The core object model (lead, contact, account, opportunity), required fields, validation rules and picklists, duplicates and account matching, field ownership, and the data dictionary as a living contract between teams.
Module 4: Lead management, routing and SLAs
Lifecycle stages from MQL to SQL to opportunity (and the alternatives), lead scoring by fit and intent, routing logic, SLAs between marketing, sales and customer success, and measuring speed-to-lead and SLA compliance.
Module 5: Pipeline reviews, reporting and dashboards
The anatomy of a good pipeline review, pipeline hygiene (stale deals, slipped close dates, missing next steps), the 6 core dashboards every revenue team needs, and how to present numbers to leaders as insight, implication and action.
Module 6: Reports, data, forecasting and the capstone
Reports that tell the truth, data literacy (spreadsheets, BI and just enough SQL), building a forecast with four methods, measuring forecast accuracy, and how to evaluate AI in RevOps: what to use, what to test, what to avoid. The module ends with the capstone briefing and exam preparation.
How you earn the CRP™ credential
You need to pass both parts.
1. The exam. An open-book online exam of 40 scenario questions drawn from an unseen pool. You need 75% (30 of 40) to pass, you get two attempts, and the time limit is shown before you start. The quizzes inside the lessons are practice only; the exam questions are different.
2. The capstone. A Funnel Health Report: a 5 to 8 slide report on your own company's funnel, with a diagnosis, data fixes and a 90-day action plan, built from your six module deliverables. If you can't use your company's data, you can use the practice dataset ROI provides. It's graded against a published rubric: diagnosis 30%, design quality 30%, business impact 25% and communication 15%. Each criterion is scored 0 to 10; a pass needs a weighted total of 70 out of 100 or more, with no criterion below 5.
You have 6 months from enrolling to submit the capstone. Results come back within 10 business days. If you don't pass, you get one free resubmission within 60 days, and you can appeal a result within 14 days. Your course access continues for as long as ROI offers the course online; only the capstone has a deadline.
When you pass both, you receive the CRP™ certificate with your name, the date earned and a unique ID that anyone you share it with can check with ROI. You can add it to your LinkedIn profile.
ROI is an independent certification body. CRP™ is not an academic degree and is not accredited by a university or government body; it shows that you completed the course and passed ROI's assessment.
